Pests

Because of the proximity of the community to the lake, wildlife is occasionally a concern. The Association contracts with a pest control company to plug up holes, keep wildlife out of crawl spaces, and set appropriate traps. However, there are also simple things that residents can do to help eliminate food and shelter for pests.

• Keep garbage can lids closed tightly.
• Store pet food indoors.
• Don’t feed the birds or squirrels.
• Stack firewood 18 inches off the ground and away from units.
